February 2017 Message from the Superintendent

Your Voice Matters: LCAP Survey Now Open

Every year Carlsbad Unified invites our community to share their ideas and suggestions regarding their schools by taking our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Survey.

On behalf of Carlsbad Unified’s Board of Trustees, we would like to encourage all CUSD stakeholders to share their perspectives as we determine next year’s goals and priorities for our district.

These goals and priorities will become part of our LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan), a three-year plan that describes our overall vision for students, the results we expect to achieve, and key actions we will take to achieve these results. It also shows how our District's budget is aligned with our goals and priorities.

The survey window will be open from February 1 through 28. This survey will take about 5 minutes.

The Board of Trustees will review the feedback from this survey at a public meeting on March 22, 2017. The feedback in this survey will be taken into consideration as the Board discusses goals and priorities for next year.

Again, thank you for your time and your support for the education of our students.
